Membership Information

Please help with our fundraising project to renovate the exterior of the main museum. We are actively seeking donors for work to be done in Fall 2010. In May 2010 we applied to Home Depot for a grant of $2500 - their max. It's a start, but we'll need large and small donors alike to get the job done. Many coats of paint, rotting windows, and various remodelings/additions done in the 70's and 80's will all be carefully addressed. This grand building will grace our community for many years to come! Call or email us for more info. Checks can be sent to our usual address. Your anonymity will be honored if requested.

Members are the foundation of this organization. We couldn't exist without them. Some members roots go back many generations in the community while others may be new to town. Many have talents to share, but all support us with the gift of their membership. In common is their belief that this is important work, the keeping of local history and the preservation of time and place.

Your membership is tax detectable; your contribution immeasurable.

Membership year is Jan 1 – Dec 31.

Assisting at the museums is not a requirement for membership. CHS is an all-volunteer
not-for-profit 501c3 organization receiving no government funding. It's no secret that museums today operate on a shoestring. Large or small, monetary donations are always needed to maintain and improve our museums and our research/genealogy department.
We appreciate your support!

If you have special interests or abilities and wish to help in any of the following areas, Visit & check us out to see if you'd like to assist in the areas of:

  • genealogy, research, filing
